You wish people would respect one another yet twice in this thread you have threatened and abused someone.
Are you schizophrenic?

I took 2 years to make my mind up when looking for my first Impreza, was not in a hurry and wanted a standard, full history, one owner in excellent condition car with low as possible miles within my budget, patience has paid off for me as I've now owned my hawk 56 sti for 6 years and all I've had to do is get it serviced and put fuel into it, no problems at all, maybe ive been lucky but I enjoyed my time searching for the right car for me, one will come along in the end and in the time that passes that you are looking maybe your budget will increase to make your search that bit easier.

And so has the price of Imprezas in the condition that you seek. So in reality, your spending power has not increased at all.

As for taking the time to read your posts buddy, sorry but I have better things to do. Once you have read one your threads, you have read them all!

Honestly, I wish you good luck in the hunt for your car. You are going to need it.

When buying a 2 year old car(like you did) i would expect nothing else but the OP isn't looking for a 2 year old car although he does want a 2 year old car for 10 year old money.

I'm sure in that time your budget crept up and the prices of the cars went down. It took me eighteen months to buy one of the cars I currently own - I also waited for the other one to become available - and in that time the price fell to a level that met with my valuation of the car. Because I wanted something to enjoy for that time I bought a clean car and ran it for a year, and then sold it for more than I paid for it!

Sounds to me like you've been lucky with your Hawk, these cars are well known for engine issues. Low mileage is not a guarantee that a car will be without problems - if anything buying a low mileage car comes with a set of problems of its own especially if the car is a few years old. I've said it before that the history and ownership is more important than anything else.

Lots of us have criteria for a car purchase, and most of us will wait patiently for the right car - but very few start threads moaning about it, then deny that we're moaning!

Yes I see what your saying jayallen but was just saying that I enjoyed my search, I got a lot of stick from the lads at work saying just get one but good things can come along if your not in a rush,I was looking for blob before the 2 year hawk came along for £13500 main dealer 100+ miles away, so was glad I took my time.

what part of my initial post is me moaning exactly? it states how long ive been looking what ive come across so far in my search and the fact that my search continues... only part which may count towards me being abit naffed off is the cars that had been described as one thing yet totally different when I got there but I definatly havnt singled that part out in this thread.

Mate, seriously, thanks for the update but give up trying to get people to agree with you. It won't happen. We are allowed different opinions you know!

I've decided nothing for you but hopefully your threads will pay dividends in the end, where by someone will sell you their car under its market value just to shut you up...

Are you looking to spend to your limit, there are a few nice Turbos about at the moment, think autotrader (could be pistonheads) has one with low miles, one owner from new and full history etc.

I seriously hope he doesn't eventually find one within his budget.
We'd then have 28 threads about how he hasn't found the insurance quote he likes.
