I bet the newage is easier? Lol
The dismantling the old runners for the fixing points is the hardest bit tbf, I kept the runner that runs near the centre console side complete for strength as its a funny fixing point on car (just detached the top part of runner, what a pain).
But now I know what I'm doing the other side should be a doddle.
Oh I had to go b&q for some more drill bits as I broke 3 of mine lol

Made a start today, removed passenger seat and took apart seat rails. Decided that my dad is going to fabricate a new cage using existing fixing holes, get is sprayed black and fit. Will post pics soon

Oh shoot, havnt had time to carry on with mine with xmas/new year and the bloody cold weather, but hopefully I'll get the car out this weekend weather permitting.
Umm done exactly the same as you today mate and could not get it to sit right so it didn't foul the pillar either ,
New thoughts are mounting the support bars pretty much on the deck with some custom bolt plates , if that makes sense

Finally got mine in at the weekend
Gotta be honest, was quite a ball ache! Took me 2 weekends! 1st one was a learning curve, 2nd one was way quicker! Biggest butt munch was getting the feet off the old runners.
However, I'm well pleased! I love them
Went for a blast on Sunday and just felt great! Real snug and just felt more connected with the car. Have ordered a bit more flat bar to tie the frame back to front for extra strength.
Unlike other comments, I actually found the seating position lower than standard seats and, although tight, managed to avoid the B-piller on both sides so free to slide back and forth
Next mission is to paint the frames, install a black carpet, harness bar, harness's, remove rear bench, make a rear firewall and get the blue door card panels re-trimmed black and an aftermarket steering wheel. That should sort the interior

Got a question for you guys. Was thinking about picking up a set of these but wasnt sure which size to go with. Im 5' 9" 175lbs (32 waist). was considering the xl since ive read the standards are a tight fit. will the xl still be a snug fit or should i just go with the standard size?
I'd think the standard would be fine for you mate , I'm 6.1 and 18st and the xl are a snug fit but fine for me , you kind of want them to hug you to be honest it's kinda the point of them lol ,
well I was worried the standard would be too tight a fit plus they will be going in my daily so wanted them to be comfortable. But than I was worried the xl might be a bit too loose and wouldn't hug me enough
I know this is a few months old but are there any updates on the new age fitting? I am thinking about doing this over the next month or so. Great to see the craftsman ship with the rails. Does anyone do a direct new age bolt on frame ?
I am also waiting to see when the new production from Corbeau will be ready.

Hi mate
These rails are spot on for the money , I ended up using them as I preferred the finished look you get with them rather than the ones I made up
