Like you and many others, Simon was my go to mapper. Top bloke who'll be deeply missed. As for the car, just go lower with the Rays

Going to swap the cusco coilovers for some KW variant 3's, will see what simon at chevron thinks as there needs to be some travel in the coilovers for optimum setup rather than hitting the bump stops for the sake of looks

Good choice on the swap Agreed, function over form, but that's not to say scooby-wrx's car doesn't handle well. I've been meaning to head over to Chevron. What costs are involved and how long does he need the car for?

Cheers, I had already bought them before you put your pics up but your pics reminded me how awesome they look. You also made my mind up to get the OEM 1/4 panel stickers again. Spoken to Japan parts and couple of other places and waiting on a reply

Love it, but I am biased. The only thing I would change is the rear brakes to 2 pots.

Cool. Bought some Brembos for mine but decided I wanted to fit the oe 16" rims for winter use so its a no go due to wheel size. With decent discs and pads the 4f2r oe setup is really good.

Enjoy it mate!

Are they my old ones by chance? When a subsequent owner sold all the good bits.

There were very few cars fitted with the 308mm kit, back in the day.

Fantastic brakes though. I never ever suffered brake fade on track.

I had a Newage with Brembos when I sold the R.

The brakes were woeful in comparison to the APs.
In fairness, I think a lot of that is down to the two piece discs.
