Well what can I say, I would believe you normally, but RS_MATT says it should do 379mpg with the lightweight arb and do a 9second run. So I don't think you know what you are on about really.

Ill listen to the expert please mate!!!!

I looked on you tube at totally different cars so concluded it's possible to do 8 seconds so therefore our leon is faster.

It's a diesel but I removed the cassette player and floor mats to make it a lightweight racing model.

I want the jdm tdi as it has no glove box light...the ultimate version

No he hasn't got a clue is the honest answer as he hasn't ever proven any of these theories 😉

Its on the internet therefore it must be true that it happened 😂😂

Had a bit of time out to do a few bits, hoping to drop below my 11.5 pb next run. Less weight, new rubber and a tad more power along with a syvecs 😬

But it's like arguing what's best a commodore 64 or a spectrum.

I couldn't care less I had both, know which was best and wouldn't want another as they are old hat and outdated.

you need over 400 bhp to get into the 12's in an [Newage] impreza.
Persistently claiming since those quotes that you did 12.8 in a 261bhp full fat Newage STI with passenger gives you no credibility at all. Even though you are an obvious troll.

First things first, need to get this 11 second pass conquered to get Tom off my back then I'll be looking at a brake upgrade and see how things go.

I've been throwing the car into corners a bit more to try and get the confidence up, the tyres can take far more than I'm capable of but the brakes (which don't fade) just want to lock up all the time.

The reason I'm looking more at the handling side is that there are two lads local to me who have both bought heavily modded STis and I'm continually meeting them on the local country roads. I blitz them on the straights substantially but they out-brake me easily so any gap is soon closed on the twisties. I thought by making the car uber light it would make the brakes more usable, but I was wrong.

I wouldn't rule it out if I make 11's!

Need to address the locking up issue though, I don't want to plough into innocent SN spectators!

Of course it would but that's all it is....a story.

He can't prove any of his claims so just makes up more sti beating tales instead.
