This is with a ***** 6 speed, and ****ty road tyres.
Another 150 BHP to come next year hopefully, severe weight loss and slicks should be fun.

You need an sti boot spoiler and a wrx gearbox and you will run 9 seconds....

I was thinking about going back to a five speed, but decided it just wouldn't be fair to the others.
Do you know how long the track stops, for them to pick all the pieces up..

Newage STI 265bhp at the flywheel and 144.7 at the wheels.
Joking aside can you imagine the feel good factor the first time you hit 10.9? Though fast I can imagine 11.01 is the worst time in the world.

I have you down at 12.7 with 318bhp. What was the car running for the 11.7 pass so I can update the most crucial table on SN?

Ill let you know in a month or so.
A fair point though, a mate in a Civic Type R was trying to get into the 13s for. Year or so, he ran a 14.04 I think.
he wasn't happy even though it was a PB.
He's sitting on 13.7 now.

WRX doesn't have an insanely heavy transmission loss making gearbox that's only purpose is to propel an insanely heavy Subaru to a reasonable 0-60 of around 5.5 secs without going too crazy with the revs.

I can't wait to get to a decent track for some times.... Even on road tyres I should be able to get better times at the pod and if I go with the slicks I'll probably trash another gearbox lol

Gearbox is my concern now. I'm toying with the idea of a rotated GT35 now, that with slicks IS going to break something.
I'm tempted to take out a mortgage and get a sequential box.

What kind of prices would you be looking at if you avoided the stock 5/6 boxes?
Can a box good for 450-550 all day long be had for less than 5k?
My 5 speed is making me want to stop at 350bhp and there's no way on hell I'd get a 6 speed to make the car as good as a 250bhp Subaru.

What caused the epic back fire on this run? Running too rich/lean?

The reason it was capped at 430, was my injectors were maxing out, (900cc) both the fuel pump and standard FPR are prime suspects, so the fuel system is having an overhaul and upgrade beforehand.

What's needed to run up the strip? I wouldn't mind chucking my blob up a few times for a laugh.
I would need to do some weight saving though as I weigh 185kg
Do you need a skid - lid etc?

Lid only required if you exceed 110MPH.

only need a helmet if you cross the line at 110 mph or more so as you have an sti you wont need one i think its only for wrx owners
