Quiet little market town with locked and alarmed garage help massively

Of course is biased, but I choose to spend £80 per year extra just to use a particular insurer that I use a lot.

They are great to deal with, pay proper payouts, give track cover, and cover my mods like-for-like.

Cheapest isn't always best (although I like to think we are cheap and good )

Admiral qouted me £1600 on a JDM Hawkeye which aint too bad as im 26 with 2 year ncb. So give em a try and plus they do the 10month policy which makes it slightly cheaper and quicker way to build up ncb. Other specialist insures wouldnt even qoute me on scooby.

Absolutely. I learnt that the hard way with Octagon Insurance (Google them). What a palaver getting my insurance swapped, they withheld my refund. Refused to send me my ncb. Ending going through the Ombudsman to get some redress. Before you ask, this was on another car which was to include my daughter to drive.

Insurance is as much about the individual being insured and their location, as it is the car.

I'm insured with KM on a JDM Hawkeye. All parts and power level declared (up to 500bhp), and it only costs me £295 at this years renewal.

BEAT THAT!

Really 1600 on a jdm hawk, have you not had any performance cars before as that doest help you out when taking insurance out with the specialists. When I took out my current policy on my jdm hawk I was 26 okay a few years ncb more but had a Subaru ect before this one.

Like I have said I'm currently with KM now, but they was not the cheapest quote I have had other quotes where only about 50quid cheaper but I chose KM purely after speaking to them on the phone I felt so much more confident being insured with them also knew their stuff when I told them what car I had ect

I think that's very expensive personally. I was paying that when I was just 21.

Yes, but yours was sold by IM as a British model. This is more attractive to a lot of insurers.

Sham's hatch is not a British model with different bits on it and this will limit his options for cheaper insurance. His is also less likely to explode over 5000rpm.

From 2016 they will start building WRX STIs in the USA as it's a massive market for them out there.
