The roller coaster continues

I love this forum, it’s doing an excellent job of distracting me from my own problems

Im back!!
thread resurrection lol, tbh I’ve not had too much time for sent lately as I just find it dull, but more time doing the usual family things.
but anyway I think it’s time to crack on, I was thinking again to sell it lol as I’ve been eyeing up f80 m3s .

anyway, money ready here for turbo, need to get Tim to pull his finger out and get it started as not done anything since, just all been put aside.

i might be picking up a turbo tomorrow if I find time to drive over......

So, had too much time off, busy lives lol, no time for car projects, I keep asking myself why am I still doing it.

but anyway lol, got back to it, needed to check the piston to cam clearance to make sure we’re ok to go the 9.0.1 compression route, did the test with zero gasket and full advance retard timing, this was the big test which I was nervous about seeing if the cams touched the piston, well, Tim phoned me to blag me and say, engine won’t turn, I’m like really! He said I’m gonna have to run a 2mm gasket, I said wtf!
then he says, do you want the good news aswell, I said go on......he said nah, it all clears with nothing touching so plenty of clearance lol, I litterly was even more happier lol,
so we’re good, which is great news, so 9.0.1 compression here we come.
happy days.

Just ordered some new DeatschWerks 1100cc injectors as I’m thinking I’ll need that bit more room, and will have enough if I want to add meth or race fuel etc.

so I’m selling my nismo 740s if anyone’s interested, pm me.

Sorry guys but I’m done! Finished.
my sole plan was to get it on road this/next month all up and running and have some much needed seat time and then sell next year after having a bit of fun in it.
but with this covid thing, that’s not a chance to have it done now so fecked my plans up. Everything was ready, was arranging stuff in background and it was going to be over Easter holidays we planned to have it all up and running.
well I’m done!
this also was my last ever project too, but I couldn’t get rid without finishing it hence I’ve kept going on.

the car is now going to be broken for parts, so if you need anything, pm me most stuff is brand new unused etc.
long engine just sold yesterday to a mate so that’s gone.
ill be listing stuff bit by bit as I simply don’t have time to sort and strip everything in a short time frame, so I’m in no rush tbh.
worldwide shipping as I work at DHL Express.

Sorry to hear that. Great shame, possibly worth hanging on for more certain times?

Surely something to look forward to at the end of this ****fest. Probably not the best time to break and distribute; all the bargain hunters knocking you down

I was planning to retire after this anyway, but just wanted to finish it for some seat time considering all the time and effort I put in planning it.
was gonna sell up end of this year or early next year, wanted to have it for summer.
but that’s not going to happen now, this covid will go on for months and restrictions will be longer probably.
so I’m done. I’m not saying any longer in hope now.

i have no rush in selling stuff as will list stuff bit by bit as I’m always busy anyway with work and family etc.
no low ballers here, I’ve been around long enough to know what stuff is worth and how to deal with low ballers so don’t waste your time with me lol.
its probably a bad time yes, but there’s broke *** people and people who are serious, I sold the engine soon as I made the decision to break, that got snapped up straight away, so the ball has started, no going back now so pointless dwelling on it now.

f80 m3 daily to come, sell my daily and have a 2 in 1 car.
