Fitting avcs heads to a classic
#34
Hmm, this is a little more involved than I was lead to believe!
I read a comment from Jura on another thread about the normal sprocket would work! You an do too much research sometimes I think!

I'm looking to fit AVCS heads onto my type R, it is a version 4 so going by this thread, I need to change my intake manifold also because the bolt holes are different.
Now to keep this mod simple, are there any specific heads that are easier to upgrade to than others ie different model year or 2.0 to 2.5 heads, uk or jdm?
My spec atm is 2.1 cdb bottom end, version 4 heads & manifold, newage top feed billet fuel rail, newage coilpack conversion, version 4 throttle cable & throttle body, Syvecs ecu.
I'm not after dual avcs heads. I just want the benefit of single AVCS heads for my setup running near 450 bhp.
What AVCS heads & intake manifold do I need to source?
Cheers
Rich
