Someone needs and to get a grip.
This really is a game changer and should be discussed. Give it two years and you'll be claiming that Apple are just copying everyone else and what you have is better.

Yes, you can be negative and look at it like that way. It's definitely a watch though, a watch with extras. It'll take a while as it did with the iPhone and iPad but just how useful and life changing the Watch is will be obvious to all in two years time.

Look,I'm liking it it.Which is good for a watch freak...lol.As I said on the other thread, not being derogatory,I do love the Mickey Mouse face option (Dan Brown) genuinely! I am a big fan of star trek and a lot of their thoughts became reality (would kill for a Phaser sometimes, lol)

Just think it is simply an iPhone worn on the wrist.I am sure it will genenuinly lead to interesting things...

(Still think they are pushing it on the price though ;-) )

Good to hear. It's just a bit grating when told that the Apple Watch isn't a watch when 90% of watches sold don't have a single cog but do have non traditional watch features. It's just an evolution to me.

But that is 90% of people who do not understand the true beauty of a real watch :-)

There's a flaw or two in this technology, I only read about it so don't know the detail but one of them involved a very expensive fluid or something like that, maybe you're right and Apple will be the one's who find the answers and if they do they deserve reward.
Proof then that Apple are yet to invent a piece of technology that confers on its user the ability to read and understand relatively simple English

So Apple won't have people queuing for the iWatch, because they don't want them to, rather than the fact that no-one really wants one. Interesting too that you can't buy one without an appointment, unlike any of their other products -

Or to put it another way, buy it online so that you don't realise it's a waste of money until you get it at your door!

As far as I can tell it wouldn't actually matter what's being sold to the faithful

Its all about being part of the club

It's funny that you probably berated Apple for people queuing and now you're trying when they don't. Here's the thing, who wants to queue? Especially when you're about to buy the best and likely most expensive watch you've ever bought.

You think you're original, not a sheep yet you use the most popular choice, Android, you're a sheep. The technology you're using is a part of the revolution a Apple started when they launched the iPhone, everyone uses a derivative of the iPhone, all sheep.

There is an amount of blind faith, but look at Apple's track record. Now you, you bought into Blackberry, I can see why you'd want others to fail as well, it must be somewhat lonely being a Playbook owner. Hard to call you a sheep.

I " bought into" playbook, because it was outrageously decent quality for the price Jack, 169 quid

I'm sure you were asked to pay extra for shipping your phone with a watch strap, but with Apple there were no choices, it was free or free. And as for thick, we've all seen that abomination you wasted your money on. Lastly, battery life is 72 hours and that's for the 38mm.

Too easy.

I've decided that I'm definitely going to get an Apple watch, even if it's the cheapest one.

Imagine if you hadn't invested in that 'toys for boys' metal melting furnace, you could have put that 350 quid against this watch. Never mind.

I think Apple watch is for the ones that appreciate top notch Apple technology.

But that thread was one of the few where Scoobynet has unanimously decided something Jack did was cool.

Awww. He doesn't half get trolled by some for his love for Apple. If they don't believe in Apple power, they don't have to keep chasing him like Pied Piper's rats, do they? But no!

Anyway, glad to know that no one got on to his case for his furnace.
