It's weird why the states would use such ****, amount of cars they have I would hope there's would have been the best, I know some of the European countries are the same. 91 Ron

My mate who had that Fq400 did the rally from UK to Russia and said they had to carry lots of additives in the boot as some of the pump gas was so bad....

I'd also expect Subaru to tune that ecu to the ****. Or at least be able to cope with it

With the exception of California all the states in the US I went to had 98 RON octane fuel readily available. California has 95.5 RON maximum due to their saddo green credentials.

I thought I could remember seeing 93 octane fuel at some of the pumps on my visits to California (which should equate to 97 to 99 RON), but it's been a few years now, so I couldn't say for 100% sure.

You maybe right, but I never saw anything over 91 and asked a mate living out here and he said 93 was no longer generally available in California apparently.

Always wanted to drive from one side to the other in some big v8 or something sexy

Wonder how much it would cost

Are there any companies that do these

So when we all meeting up then for a fight or beer ?

Just do a Google, there are several companies that do exactly that. It would be the trip of a lifetime, America is so much more than we see on TV. A fantastic place actually.

In 2005 I drove from Phoenix to San Francisco taking in San Diego, Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and LA. Incredible memories.
