Hi Jeff

Bought one set off revolution speak to Keith top bloke... The other set was a lucky purchase off eBay, £400 with Yoko parada tyres with 6mm tread

Know mags can do these too drop him a line

Bit of an update

Sti front strut brace fitted, front and rear Perrin anti roll bars... The ride is really stiff now and so much better to drive. Handle corners great, dare I say almost as good as the handling on my bug

Also had the Sti genome box fitted... Initial thoughts are a little quiet but due to waiting for a map tweak Havnt opened it up yet

Also bought a vf35 at a bargain price of a very low mileage car, that should go on in a few weeks with a map tweak so see what we can get out of the old lump

Few pics

Old off

New on

Vf35

Looks very tasty that mate.does your new tail pipe stick out the rear bumper or does it sit behind. Also do you think the std intercooler could be improved for better cooling.Ive got loads of bent fins looks like you have a good few as well

Tail pipe sits in mate, had it fitted but will customise the brackets at some point with a longer centre section to correct the fit.. A question I need answering too mate I've mesaged my mapper, may change to a newage Sti tmic for better cooling if it's of any benefit to the performance side

Hi Martin can I have a picture of your bov set up and the plumbing of pipes going to it please.Ive read from a Subaru tuner that the forester bov on the uk model is restricting boost because we have a 2 way set up and to get round this to use an impreza bov or one like yours and block the secondary pipe

Some changes made no pics as of yet but will add them..

So up at scoobyspares today plugs changed to pfrb7's oil and filter change. Newage Sti tmic fitted just have to mod the undertray for better cooling.

What a pain to fit but got there in the end was a tight squeeze but Neil preserved and had a lot of patience.
So spec for now is

Suspension
Tein coilovers
Front and rear strut braces
Perrin front and rear roll bars
Rear perrin stout mount
Xxr 527 18x8.75
(Eibach camber bolts to fit)

Engine
Pfrb7 plugs
Millers 10-40 oil and filter change
Cosworth pannel filter
440 injectors
Sti tmic
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Decat up pipe
Decat down pipe
Sti genome exhaust

Pioneer app radio with uprated speakers
Rally armour mudflaps from the U.S.

Plans now are a remap and a machine polish after front and rear bumpers are repainted,Fast road geo setup, Mod the under tray to sit on top of the Sti tmic.
Still need to find a larger bonnet scoop that fits as Upto now nothing is a direct fit which is a little fustrating...

Will add more when I have a little more time and some under bonnet pics

Today

Martin

Just a quick one snapped as you can see it's quite tight and the strut brace just squeezed back on

As you can see the recirc valve does not fit so had to put on a bov...

Ok so not been happy with the small undertray and the amount of air which is passing through the intercooler... Looked around but nothing available so decided to replicate a zerosports undertray to maximise the amount of air flow which passed through the bonnet scoop...

This is where I'm Upto for now
Went an bought a sheet of ally

Take off the scoop and under tray the pic shows how small the undertray hole actually is

Making a template of the oe under-tray

The cut out

This is when I ran out of light so will be continued...

So are you gonna make the hole bigger to maximise air flow?

Yes that's the idea mate, I'm going to make the hole as big as the tmic then have some sort of vent which should send all the air through the intercooler

I had my gear box oil replaced in the bug mate when we put the 6 speed in but I'm not quite sure which one we put in... Give Alyn @ ASperformance and shout tomorrow his advice and service is the best

Drilled some holes

Test fit

Then to attach the oe undertray rubber on to prevent any knock..

Still needs comming off for a good file down and maybe painted black with a bigger rubber but for now and to serve its purpose for tomorrow it will do

Had the car mapped today with a eculabs ecu and a live map...

Went really well now the cars running maffless too feels sharp and LC brings a smile.. Really pleased as I've waited a while for the car to run this smoothly finally there's been light at the end of the tunnel
