Even though I'm a Lewis fan I've been silently hoping Williams sneaks a win.

Good to see Red Bulls grip on F1 has finally been broken and the Constructors has gone else where this year.

 

Yes it wouldn't hurt would it. I don't think it will be this year, but next year Williams might make the top step.

mistake yet again by rosberg puts him out of even challenging for the win. hamilton is just a better driver.

 

I was disappointed for Bottas when he lost it on the last corner of a flying lap in Q3, he was looking good for pole up until then.

 

another great drive by Hamilton, aside from that im a big button fan and would love to see him up on the podium again. something isn't right at McLaren at the moment for some reason and it shows when button is interviewed. I can see an announcement on his part coming soon, either a move away from McLaren or a retirement from the sport

I have to agree. That was the most boring race of the season so far. All thanks to 'Mr lock up Roaberg'.

Just a boring race & track overall.

 

Nothing wrong with the track compared to the likes of Singapore, Monaco, Hungary etc. Pirelli made an error of judgement with the tyres not that that was really their fault as we'd all have been complaining if they had gone the other way and we'd had 5 pitstops.

They had no data on which to base their choice and to be honest the mid-season test session should have been at Sochi to give them some idea of what tyres were needed.

Softer tyres for the next one and a bit more equality on engine power and we should see some good racing at Sochi.

he did shake hands eventually, but veryu much stayed away and he did ignore him bar that lol

never seen dignatries in the cooling down room before, but guess who has to be there.

race was pretty boring as they go. Pirreli have taken allot of flak for the tyres, but then you see a race like this and shows the difference, they went too conservative on the tyres, but given no info on the surface, wear etc etc can't blame them for it at all.

became pretty clear that button has lost his drive at mclaren, mag as well. never seen two drivers get a result like that compared to where they have been and be down in the dumps like that. Shame really.

Was a mention of button going to drive GT cars, imagine him and webber in one, would make an epic pairing hehe

oh yea and watch the same guy win nearly all the races mostly due to a bike advantage Same as in F1

I'm no big fan of these types of tracks but looks like it could be one to look forward to next season and wounder how big a role the small pits will play with some more stops thrown in.

 

I used to love moto gp but it has to be one of the worst motorsports going at the moment, has been that way since they brought in new tyres which shortened the braking area and restricted racing lines.

I do however enjoy BTCC but they are having there fair share of problems with boost allocations and not exactly running a fair race each time out. You also need to keep in mind that alot of the overtaking is due to the cars making contact with one another, if it was to be made a none contact sport such as f1 then you would see a huge reduction in passing.

 

BTCC IS a none contact sport but they allow them to get away with it as it appeals to the ******** audience that know nothing about motorsport. They've taken what was a great championship and turned it into the car equivalent of wrestling.

Bathurst was on Sunday morning. Aussie V8's is a real touring car championship.

 

At least they actually managed to penalise Plato properly in the end...

 

If you find F1 boring stop watching it.... it's as simple as that!
