What do you think of Rooney as Man U fans? As a neutral you can see he isn't happy there anymore. He's never been the same since allegations of a rift with SAF surfaced in the media. I think a move abroad.......or, being radical, a skip back to Everton would do him good. The longer he stays at Utd the easier it is to forget the really good stuff he's done at the club. He doesn't have anything to prove or win at Old Trafford anymore. He'd do far more good back at "home" than Lukaku is doing. It's not like United can expect to profit on him. When he's happy/focused he's an utter nuisance but you rarely see it now.
As I mentioned in my other post, team selection and tactics seem to be the problem. I lost count of how many times the ball was blasted into the air from defence only for the ball to be picked up by PNE. It was like watching Wimbledon from years ago who were famous for it.
Felllaini did ok last night but he's just a big fuzzy haired donkey who should not be a Man Utd player which in fairness is also true of a few others I could mention. Luke Shaw looks like he could be an excellent player but I always feel he's carrying a few extra pounds - I'd have Evra back in a heart beat!

Why would he be leaving man u?
Hes been made captain, hes been playing well, not scored many goals, that because he's been very defensive, Van gaal put's him in midfield as hes hard working and helps control midfield.
As soon as they swapped to 4-4-2 they then pulled the game back. That shows the formation isn't working.
As for the dive, regardless if he had fell over or not should of been a penalty, if Rooney had left hs legs there the keeper would have got sent off, 2 footed tackle and Rooney out for the season with broken leg.

I'd hate to see him go but at the same time, if he ain't happy then he's just making up numbers.

I see what what your saying, and he proberly made more of a meal out of it. But he would of struggled to stay on his feet anyway, so he needed to leap out of there, if anything he did the keeper a favour.
But diving is just one of many things that needs to be removed like pushing people in the box, Fellini did it to score his goal and like diving it's done every game.

What I can't understand is why the powers that be don't seem to want to do anything about the situation. I remember as far back as the late 80's / early 90's when Jurgen Klinsman used to perform the sort of dives that Tom Daley would be proud of yet at the time it was like a running joke. Look at how rife it is now.
I was watching an under 10's match a small while ago and was completely dumbfounded at the diving and play acting that was going on!

I,m not a Man U fan, but that looked like a penalty to me,
Sure no contact, but that goalie ment business when he came charging out - I don't blame Rooney tbh

Sick and tired of the likes of Di Maria and Young and all the rest of the Footballing fannys cheating who think there is a place in football for diving. When are the authorities going to take these cheats to task and ban then for 5 games at a time!

If they can dish out 6 to 7 game bans for spitting then diving should be on a similar level of punishment, although not as repugnant as spitting it's still a massive blight on the game and only bans of this nature will educate these guys.

I saw them play Wigan last year in the semi's
awful game and we were lucky to win
in fact it was a blessing Wigan scored - at least we have to do something in the 90mins
