Best performance all season, hope they continue on this form and not go backwards, for me Carrick was best player, Rooney 2nd although commentators gave fellaini man of the match, he was good but not sure about man of the match.

I think Rooney must have been sparring again - was useless today. Well happy with that result though.

I hate both clubs, was surprised that Utd finished with 11 men, both Jones and that numpty Rooney should have been sent off.

Quallity

Was happy with result, felt sorry for Gerard, but deserved a red, Man u owned first half then struggled in second half, can't believe Rooney bodged up penalty. Fellaini played well, thats twice now lol, and Matta was mint.

Great result - Mata should have had the pen and the hat-trick. Cannot believe we are where we are - we've played so poorly most of the season. Coming on song now though.

Mata should definitely have had the pen especially after the game Rooney had. Poor passing, poor decision making and a foot off the pace. Carrick makes a big difference and Blind seems a lot better at left back than Shaw or Rojo.

Rooney did have a poor game, his passing wasnt the best at all.

Yea i agree with blint being better at right back. He's not got the pace, but he did a good job.

Absolutely destroyed them 1st half, a joy to watch with the two triangles operating on either side of the pitch, maybe the "philosophy" is kicking in

As for Gerrard, low and dirty and deserved to go as did Škrtel, like to see some retrospective for him.

I can't see how the FA can ignore the Skrtel stamp

I think Skrtel's foul was worse than Garards, he was in midfight.

Could of broken De Gea's leg
