Not sure it'll be worth a second on the 1/4 but it will certainly help.
I also believe Andy can have it on auto and allow the syvecs to change gear for him. Might be something to look into as I'm sure that would shave some time off.

Just found this! Awesome, how do you find the length of each gear when driving? I'm sure you're changing so quick you don't notice but does it have shorter gearing for the kind of racing you'll be doing?

Thanks mate.

1st to 4th gears are a bit longer and 5th and 6th are shorter compared to my old gearbox u.k 6 speed. I think it will top out about 170mph.

Is there an expected life in between gearbox rebuilds etc?

Or do they jus last until they break?

A very short vid of a test of launch control i did this morning .
6,000 rpm , 1 Bar boost .
First time i have launched the car with the sequential gearbox and new diffs hmy:.

Good news is ,i got all the 4 wheels spinning up ,was feathering the throttle as it was wheel spinning all through 1st gear, as road was dusty ,needed my drag tyres on really.

Here is the link to my 10.4 run yesterday.Could only get 2 runs in as they had a lot of problems with the timing gear at shaky drag strip .Really pleased with the terminal speed of 143mph but watching it back I realise I made a few mistakes. I forgot to flat shift 1st to 2nd. I bogged on the line and was shifting gear at 7200 rpm instead of 8200 rpm. It's a bit manic and I'm still learning. Looking foward to 23rd to 25th.

All that matters is you're enjoying it Marty. Car looks and sounds fantastic.
The car may be capable of more but you can't be disappointed with a 10.4sec qtr. I don't car what anyone says, that's fast.

I found flat shifting 1st to 2nd the hardest, had to keep telling myself not to forget to do it when I was queuing up, might use a sticker on the steering wheel next time

Good luck for the rest of the year, I'm sure you'll find a 9 somewhere!

Thanks mate . Think there is a 9 second run in the car , just need a bit more practice ,know what you mean ,kept thinking on the line , dont use clutch and change at 8,200 rpm ,as soon as lights went to green ,i forgot everything
