15 year Plasma, 20 year LED if you avoid bangs and temperature fluctuations.

My Samsung LCD I bought 9 years ago is still going strong. I have it mounted in the kitchen

I remember walking into Comet with £1000 in cash and buying it thinking "This is it! i've hit the big time".... I was only 22.

My Samsung 3D LED in the living room is fine after 2 years but only time will tell.

John Lewis or Costco give 5 year guarantees with all TV's

I've still got my 15 year old Sony CRT which is now in the bedroom so should last a few more years. In the lounge is a 4 year old LG plasma which I purchased a week before the last World Cup, I expect it to last for this one and the next one too.
