If I had the karlton arches I would have to get rid of the Rota grids and get some wider wheels with wider tyres if I was to do it properly!!

Im tempted but karlton arches fitted and painted is £800 then a new set of good wheels with tyres in nearly £2,000
Makes me think twice about spending nearly £3,000 on a 8 year old car with 60k miles on the clock that I have to use everyday that wont make it drive or perform any better.

Best car on Scoobynet in my opinion is jimblive white Hawk Spec C Type RA!! has everything looks, rarity and the right mods. Would give my left ******** for that car!!! and if I could get the money I want for my car I would sell and wait for one of these!!

Would your existing alloys work with 20mm spacers? Or would that totally kill the handling?

I wouldnt run 20mm spacers think the wheels would be just hanging on, I think you need minimum 18x10 with some 245/40/18 tyres to pull those arches off, pretty sure XXR do some really wide alloys at a good price, but ideally if money was no object then I would love a set of 18x10.5 Volk CE28N in gold but they work out at £2,200 for just the alloys then a set of tyres £1000 = £3,200:!!!

Volk ce28n on a white blob!!!

ADVAN Racing RS-D?

Do these 18x10 come out enough or would you need a different offset?

Owner wasn't EMB, he said he just bought the body off EMB. Still I think he was doing a terminal of around 127.

Hope he doesn't mind but I'd like to nominate Sprigeteers bug wagon, for me it's one of the ultimate sleepers. If someone more technical minded than me could post a pic that'd be grest. Cheers.

Have a poll about the 50% you are going to choose for this poll, but not the other poll you started about best looking. Then have a poll to see which poll was best.

I've read it 3 times but still can't decipher it.

Something to do with ride height I guess.
