I can't remember but is the twisty air control ring supposed to stop turning at some point?
If it's leaking out of the air control then the juice is getting past the coil and down into the air intake, that's either through the coil or around the coil, through the coil is most likely, not enough wicking material. Could be crappy batch, it happens.

When you refill, before you put the battery on, cover the drip tip with a tissue point the tip down and flick it vigorously a few times - I'm sure you're well practiced at flicking the wrist. It clears the coil and chimney, used to have to do it frequently with the early coils.

It spins freely on mine, it has a good enough resistance though that it doesn't move without you moving it yourself.

Why don't you return the tank to where ever you got it from and ask for a full replacement, not just a replacement part.

Yea could be the coils but i think the air control valve is also knackered, resulting in an overall sh1tty vape. My liquids are burning alot quicker too.

Also there's some small bubbles in the tank, after a vape, that aint right lol.

Its very strange, put an old coil back in and its 2ohms use to be 1.9 put the new one in its reading 3.8-4ohms, something is definitely fecked. Hopefully the new air control valve piece will solve it. I doubt its the tank as that has nothing that can go wrong really and just screws on top.

I don't understand why you're blaming the air control valve when all that does is makes for a harder or lighter draw, more or less air. Unless it's stuck closed I can't see how it's causing anything you're describing, even with just one hole exposed mine still wicks fast enough to keep up with 8.5watts.

If anyone else is reading this please don't let it put you off, most people just buy them, use them and they work great.

Eh? because its leaking sometimes, duh. There are o-rings in there Jack, they could have failed, as you said yourself causing the liquid to go past the coil or through it.

Yeah I suppose it's possible, just unlikely, the liquid is held in by vacuum, there's a big hole from the wick to the battery, much bigger than a knick in an o-ring.

So if it isn't that, it's just a duff batch of coils then, it can't be anything else right? Or is there anything that could cause this massive fail just with the tank?

I'm going with bad batch of coils or sheer incompetence.

Ive bought the new version coils within the last couple of weeks which have been fine so if he's had his coils within the last few weeks or so i'd rule out a bad batch of coils.

Definitely incompetence then. Nah, I've had a bad pack before, they were the original coils though, binned them.

Got an EMOW mega from a local store last week. Very impressed so far.
I'm thinking of getting a spare battery, can you use an IPOW2 battery on my exisiting clearomizer?

Or shall I just get an IPOW 2 as well?

Yeh the Emow Mega fits perfectly on the Ipow2 battery, perfectly flush. Have a look a few pages back, i posted a pic of the ipow2 battery with the Emow Mega tank fitted to it.

Yea thanks for that. I bought mine weeks before you did. So you can't rule it out at all. Anyway mine are 1.8ohm ones, yours are 1.5's !

Their might be a slight quirk with the Ipow2 battery, but in a decent way. When you charge it you wait till the battery indicator is full then unplug it, that's what ive been doing. From a full charge the first 2 bars were going fairly quickly, i was getting around 10hrs from a full charge.

The other day i left it on charge for approx 30 - 40 mins after it would have normally had a full charge, that was by accident as occasionally you forget by 10 or 15 mins here and there, normally leaving these type of batteries on charge for longer than is recommended isn't good.

Anyway, the first bar lasted quite a bit longer than it normally does, so did the 2nd bar. I got approx 4 - 6 hrs longer from the battery than when i was taking it off the charger after it was saying it was fully charged. Maybe the charge indicator isn't the most accurate, it could be that it's not fully charged even though the LED screen is saying it is. Something that backs that up is i got a lot longer from the battery out of the box from a factory charge than i did from a standard charge, going off the battery full indicator when it was charging.

Another new tank the other day ,new kanger subtank. Comes with 2 coils, one sub ohm at 0.5ohm and another at 1.2ohm. Both work very well,of course more of an instant hit with the sub coil. Options of rebuild-able coils too,so best of both worlds in a package.

Spare screws, japanese cotton,2 ready made coils and 2 BDCs

Next to the delta tank for size

On the ody vv

3 air hole options(1-3) and 6ml of fluid with the BDC coils(the buildable fits in a housing so takes up more space)

Its ok the Ipow2 but as i suspected it doesn't last as long as my other 2 batteries, because of its display which sucks the batt life on its own. It lasts long enough though. I'm doing the same as you as it didn't seem to take as long as the others to do a full charge going by the display, so i also leave it going a bit longer. It's pretty quick to charge either way.

That looks a really nice bit of kit, any idea how it compares size wise with the Megatank?

Too huge. This is looking like it might be my next battery and that thing would dwarf it http://www.cloupor.com/cloupor-mini-30w-vv-vw-box-mod-for-sale

Removable 18650 battery is going to make it popular, I'm hoping it's a good price.

Me too, that looks perfect.

Considering getting another Kanger but I might get the IPOW 2 instead as it has a larger battery and clearomizer.

One thing I have found after doing a little more research is that a lot of people seem to prefer the single coil vaporizers as opposed to dual coil.

Are there single coils available for the Imow and IPow? Just want to give them a try.

Trust me these dual coils are a lot better than the old style. I used them for a good 8 months and they did the job but they all gurgle and leak eventually. Buy an EVOD if you want to try, they're cheap http://myepack.co.uk/review/product/...8/category/17/

I may, just to compare. I didn't like those cheap £1 e-liquids that you recommended. I found that there was no 'body' to the flavours I tried.
My local shop has hundreds of flavours and the best bit is, I can try before I buy.

One small issue with my emow though is that is has started to 'pop'. Does it just need a clean under the tap?

No popping is pefectly normal. I wouldn't recommend cleaning with water now i know better, it doesn't do the wicks much good at all and takes a while for the wick to "pickup" the juice properly again, unless you really dry it out overnight. Better to dry burn it whilst blowing air over it through the airholes. Or simply just replace the coil.

That's what I thought.

They are cheap enough aren't they.
I'm just in two minds on whether to buy a complete spare unit, ie the IPOW Mega 2, or just a spare battery.

Get a fully functioning spare or you might end up back on the ****. I agree on the one pound liquid, good for a quid but no match for my favourite Mount Baker Vapor.
