You get pretty chunky strips so just tear off what you think is right for the coil(kind of peel it off if makes sense ). I do cut some as well, which ever works best for you. If you get any cotton taste it's minimal and gone within 1/2 tank.

Yes all I have pretty much ever used with the crown. Simple single RBA , depending on mood from 0.3ohm to 0.7ohm

Have a nice triple Clapton RBA for the tfv8 micro tank, a little beast! (Literally)

It is a crazy beast with awesome coil options...........but no surprise that i use a dual RBA clapton in it. Around 40w is enough and reads 0.3ohm between the 2 coils. Pretty nice vape, just a little too much for heavy vaping.

Yea yours is the original tfv8 (6ml), these baby (3ml) n big baby (5ml) tanks are supposed to give a slightly better flavour although they are a scaled down version of yours.

Yea they all come with an RBA ossett. v8 RBA or v8 baby RBA.

The baby n big baby tanks have all the same coil options of its big brother too, they are expensive though.

SMOK set up is a good one for the money, a little searching about should find it for around £55 ish(tank inc). Only reason i went for mod only was for the all silver and already had a tfv8(not over bothered about smaller tanks as it means filling up more). On top of that, i have plenty of tanks to go at anyway...........

 

The baby @3ml is to small for me the big baby @5ml would be good but I can't find anyone doing the big baby and alien combo. I'll keep searching

 

You would have to buy separate, kit is the 3ml only unfortunately. Buying separate or in kit form is only £10 or so different. If your happy with the colour options then its worth it for a spare tank.

If time is no issue, may be worth checking gearbest or fasttech out for any flash sales..........can save a few £ but means 2-3wk wait.

 

Yea myepack do the alien kit which comes with the baby tank. Big baby tank is sold separate so you're looking at £90 odd quid if you want that combo. I can't find anywhere either just selling the alien mod on its own :/

I don't want to go back from 10ml, keep seeing potential targets then they're low capacity.

I'm still using my Kanger Leakbox, which doesn't really leak much at all. Planes included.

 

Looking at this lot has set me off again wanting the smok pipe mod, good thing it only comes in black because if it was shiny aluminium I doubt I could resist.

 

they do look pretty cool and been tempted myself with the pipe...........look a comfy vape if makes sense.

 

Re the comfy vape, I do know exactly what you mean which is part of the appeal, must resist, spent up now splashing out on torches and I kind of have enough vape stuff with the Ijust2, Kooper 200, subox mini, bellus and griffin tanks I've just about got all my bases covered anymore and I'm just being greedy.

 

I know the feeling too well,I have the what if one gets lost, the other breaks and another is not enough thought, 2 is 1 and 1 is 0. Back up for back up........better to have and not need than to need and not have!

Done well on the vape front , this year I reckon a handful of tanks and maybe 3 mods in all that time. Been pretty content and ever time I thought to try another tank or mod it just was not up there. Then reverted back to what works best for me. Well until the alien anyway, over 10 days and not used anything else or plan to.

I'm liking the smok alien kit, would love it in aluminium finish, but the 3ml tank isn't enough for me either, i'd also want the rba, keep me posted too. My subox mini is getting on at 1yr old and looking a bit battered, maybe time to put it into reserve status.

Ummm, but at 90 quid it works out the same as buying the Alien mod and baby beast separately and no colour choice which is important to me as I don't want another painted mod because they look tatty pretty quickly in day to day use, stainless ftw.
