Batteries a couple of Samsung 25r or Samsung 30Q will be good.

+1 for the kanger mini kit, great flavour and vape for the money.
The kanger can be charged in the mod via a USB cable,or better still buy an Xtar charger,be it single or a 2 bay. Xtar are pretty good and safe compared to cheap chinese ultrafire and other ****fire crap! Even an Xtar sp1 is only £15 or so,vp1 or vp2 are excellent chargers still today and can also charge at 1a(ideal rate for IMR/INR 18650 cells).

Nic levels depends on how much you smoke
Generally before sub-ohm coils came out....
Rough idea
10 a day and lights,maybe 6-12mg
20 a day 18mg ish

After that 26mg-32 mg ish for high strength.

Bare in mind the sub mini is sub ohm,so even 6mg(low) is quite strong!! So with the kanger mini kit try around 6mg at 1st,if not enough just increase the nic mg. If a heavy smoker then maybe 12mg ish for sub ohm........you might be a little floaty/light headed though

Flavours, try very subjective, i personally stay away from tobacco stuff and prefer fruity/berry type. Others prefer menthol's etc.

Ideally a 50/50 mix of PG/VG for a smooth vape with lots of flavour to start.

Not sure which, but there will be lots of reputable shops that sell various mixes which you can have made up.

General bought bottles from say a local shop tend to be 80% pg and 20% vg,so quite a throat hit which can be too much sub-ohm.

Little trial and error really with fluids, soon find a few flavours though. Always worth trying some at a local shop for ideas and take from there

These are great cells for vaping, 3000mah last 1-2 days or more depending on how much you vape.

Liquids, theres literally thousands of shops, i use Totally Wicked mostly.

How many **** are you smoking currently? That will dictate how much nicotine content you begin with. Most people start at 18mg and reduce as they get into vaping. With the subox mini its probably better to start at 14mg and try and work your way down to a lower nic content.

I should have moved to 6mg when I picked up the sub tank, saying that I haven't been sub ohm since the first coil, happy days, sub ohm coils and lower nic next purchase.

You will probably find the choice is made easy for you when sub ohming, really will blow your head off with the hit. Tbh you could probably go down to 2mg and get the same hit as 18mg on normal coils!!

Key is to have a higher mix AG as if your mouth-chest it will or could be too much. The higher % of AG gives a smoother vape at lower ohms. 80% PG will spit back at you and you may cough a lung up

Either make your own or buy 50/50 or 70/30 % fluid of AG/PG for a more enjoyable sub ohm vape............flip side is the clouds. Can be......well thick

Good fruity flavours come out too, under tones that standard coils dont bring out hit you in the back ground.

Useful site(not sure if posted it previous or not) but on left side has recipes etc and useful stuff

The first coil made me dizzy.

Taking a step closer to DIY, Nic and PG/VG premixed just add flavour and I can get my favourite Thug Juice from the same place. Half price.

I just switched from a Mini Protank 2 to a Subtank Nano on an Ipow2 (using the 1.2ohm coil). I don't want anything that needs a suitcase to wheel it around and is quite discrete.

Used my existing cheapo 24mg £1 liquid - big mistake - popped like it had anti-lag and made me break out in a cold sweat Very little vapour either. Think I need a liquid with more VG and a lower nic content?

24mg is quite high, popping is normal and calms down. I've just ordered more £1 liquid, nothing wrong with it.

I have some lower nic £1 liquid here, will try that and see what happens I've been happy with it so far and reluctant to pay more now unless necessary.

So no vaping in the cars with anyone under 18?

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/on-october...2.html#PlTT0eH

Or is it just smoking?

No, the rules don’t apply to e-cigarettes, although they should if you ask me.

I agree, not great around children. Women with excessive perfume which is probably just as damaging to children should be banned in cars as well.

So my dad has an ecig thing that he tops up, currently on 12mg strength.

He came back from holiday having bought some Pipe Tobacco flavoured Dvine eJuice

Now he likes this flavour and has been to the two local ecig places he frequents but they don't do "Pipe Tobacco flavour" so muggins here has been tasked with "can you look online for me?"

Well I can, but as he's asked me - I'd want some assurance of the source being legit / safe rather than the first match.

So does anyone know of any decent vendors?

I can't find it in the UK. Buy a few from here http://www.onepoundeliquid.com/one-p...-e-liquid.html and find one he likes, most tobacco flavours you'll see in stores are RY4.

Ok guys
So I have had my kanger sub box mini for a few weeks now and I can report that it's a great bit of kit.
Have been off the stinkys for nearly 6 weeks so definitely working.
My problem is with juices,I have tried many different brands now and I'm yet to find a cherry or bubblegum that actually tastes decent.
I tried a friends e cig some time ago now to see if I could start using one and he had juice in it that tasted exactly like cherry tunes !
It was dark red and lovely tasting.

I've been trying my best to find one like it but to no avail.
I've tried local and further afield,tw range, one £ liquid etc but still no joy

Also all the bubblegum I've tried have been a similar story with rainbowvapes being ok but not quite right, tastes like them 2p bubblys in the wrappers with the twisted ends.i was after something slightly more fruity....juicy fruit flavour ??

Any help would be great lads

Cheers
Tim

Totally wicked do a fruity gum flavour, but its a concentrate only, so you have to make it yourself, having said that i didn't like it.

I make my own bubblegum liquids using the orange top TW concentrate or the rainbow vapes Capella ones. They are both spot on, even if i do say so myself

For the cherry one, sorry to state the obvious but didn't you ask your mate where he bought it from?

You guys tried the TFV4 tank out yet, by far the best i have used out of all of them. I have been none stop on the dual RBA build and ordered some clapton coils to try out.

Its fun building your own coils, trust me on this, its chalk/cheese compared to bought coils. Not only that, you could probably make 50 coils for £10 easy.........they last a few uses and just require a re-wick every few weeks.

Once you go there.............there is no going back though as a normal vape is just like driving a prius compared to an sti ........no comparison

Got another tfv4 on order, check out gearbest for bargains, my last was £15 delivered (gone up to £33 now)and bought the joytech vt60 mini for £28 delivered........Tracked and quicker shipping included.

Nah sticking with the kanger mini tank, its great for my needs. I sometimes build up the RBA and it is a nicer vape, but i can't be arsed with making up the coils, it's a bit of a faff to be honest. Wicking isn't a problem as it's very quick to do.

To be honest i'd rather pay £10 for 5 OCC sub ohm coils as it's just more convenient for me. Plus they last me ages (~15 weeks) as i don't vape that much.

I cba making coils...............stuff that i just buy them ready made, last lot i got 50 for £5 of 0.5ohm, so in duel i get a 0.25ohm build.

Not got time or patience yet for buying in the wire and twisting it(can buy tools to make easier) but still easier to have them ready to fit
