Default Looking for a custom map

Hi

I have a 2002 STI which i would like to have custom mapped, i have a couple of mods, green replacement panel filter, Ninja sport cat downpipe, decat 2nd pipe and straight through to a Tornado back box.

Any recommendations for a road mapper in west mids area ? also what can i expect bhp wise from the map with my mods ?

Can i have anything else added like launch control ?

anything else i need to know or do before hand ?

Thanks !!

As H said, TD

launch control, you'll need a good clutch or you'll be replacing it
You'll be up around the 300 mark I imagine as STI parts are good, compared to a WRX where you would need to get a bigger turbo but your STI turbo should be fine. I have read about people getting 360hp on standard parts (same mods you have) but you might be pushing the wear and tear on the standard components quicker than aftermarket one's that are built for the extra power you seek.

Welcome to the money pit.

Duncan Graham (dynamix) maps my 04 blob sti, hes a top bloke and as honest as they come, he also knows his Scooby's he mapped my blob with pretty much the same spec as yours and got me roughly 330-350bhp. Drop him a PM on here and have a chat with him, he will either meet you at Roger Clark or Map it on road if needed.

+1 for Duncan Graham he road mapped my WRX with a vf34 to around 340bhp and the power is delivered so smoothly through the whole rev range ,Its a different car.
Genuine reliable guy who has also mapped a few of my mates cars all with excellent results.

Sorry to hijack this thread....
JGM ive seen many great reviews on the work/mapping you have done, Is it possible for you to answer these questions below please.

I've just recently brought a 51 plate bugeye wrx with PPP and I think TD04 turbo, filter, and vortex afterburner cat back exhaust .

1- Is it worth mapping the car if it still has a CAT
2- Can the PPP Ecu be mapped
3- what price should I be looking at for the map

Regards Stace.

1. Yes although the gain will be less as currently about. 265/245 but sportscat ppp shpuld allow 280/280. So a gain but less than a standard car - 215-230.
2. Yes
3. Ecutek newage remap - www.jollygreenmonster.com
