Hi guys. It's probably been asked loads before but I e searched and can't find guide on here. Can anyone direct me to a guide on changing a fuel filter on my 2002 bug eye? Best way of depressurising the system etc? Cheers

Pretty straightforward job,hardest part i found was getting the fuel lines off the old filter but certainly one of the easier jobs on an impreza.

I would recommend putting the pipes on properly though. Inlet to that filter ain't fully home!

Thanks for that. Looks like a simple job. This guy already has the fuel system depressurised though. Trying to locate the fuel pump to disconnect or take the fuel pump fuse out. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

I just do it next day when car's been left alone so no pressure in system .Any job on a impreza is easy people make them sound hard

+1 for doing it after car being left overnight,very little fuel loss when pipes disconnected.

Never "de pressured" any petrol efi system before, it does it itself as soon as you pull a pipe off. Nothing there that's going to kill you
