Just got mine for Silverstone, so assuming more of those who thought they'd got a no may also be in.

Can't remember seeing the previous thread to this, but my mate got an invite and managed to get me along as well - going to Brands Hatch.

Anyone else down for there?

Mine was for Silverstone, seems like they released the Brands Hatch ones much earlier.

 

I am going to Brands on the 29th PM session, In fact I got my confirmation pack this morning.

 

I'm going to Silverstone on 5th June pm. Apparently sessions take ~ 5hrs. Celica, MR2, Rav4 on track + 'off-roading'.

Looking forward to Celica on track as hard work on real roads due to peaky engine. Suspect we will be slowed somewhat though. - Interested to get reports from earlier sessions.

 

They didn't hold you back on-track last year

In fact, I was positively encouraged to put the MR2 sideways round Oulton Park

 

Booked Silverstone for the 8th - PM session. Can't wait.

Spoke to toyota today and the guy on the phone said Corolla t-sport and didnt mention anything else? but he also kept saying bear with me a minute as if it was his first 5 mins on the job and had no idea.

Dont get too excited it ain't 5hrs tracktime!

I recall format as
Welcome sign in and briefing
Allocate groups to rotate through

Off road Rav/Landcruiser
Test drive a selected car from the range around local roads, (GPS guided)
Handling Run, wet control circle and slalom x 2 (Admonished & Banned from 2nd run )
Three Laps Celica/MR2
Hot Lap with instructor.

Tea and corporate close.

A range of activities were available in the visitors centre to fill time as there's a lot of hanging around.

Still not a bad day for the price
