Quick query here about the instrument dials on MY98-00 cars...

1) What colour are they ?
2) Are they the same colour across all models ?
3) Did they change colour/design at all in this period ?
4) Are imports different than UK, or the same ?

Anyhelp welcome, if people could e-mail me ANY pictures (of the dials !) they've got, they'd be gratefully recieved.

MY99 UK Turbo.

White backgrounds, green backlighting, black lettering (IIRC)

I'll try to take some piccies later on.

 

These white dials came in for UK Turbo models in 1998 - I think they were fairly plain looking prior to that.

Sti of this age are different. The speedo / rev counter swap places, plus some have a mettalic grey background instead of white.

MY98 was the same as Chris said (just to confirm!)

Before they were black with white numbering...quite dull really!

 

MY98 here in America are Black with white lettering and green backlit. Very dull in deed, but I changed to the white face gadges not to long ago.
