Markus, this is a windup TO A POINT. Many people have said that they'd like to go somewhere else for a change (they say this every week we go). Nobody seems to listen. 'Till now. So, howabout we all have a think and try to find a different pub to go to and then you can change your post accordingly and this one will just vanish. This Crown Point may be worth a look..

hope my words were not too harsh, not meant to be.
regardless of my 'living' on this board and the jibes about me not doing any work, I have been busy over the past week, plus things are set to be busier still, so sorting out a new venue probably won't happen this month. I will check out the crown point, and badgers mount and talk to them and see if they are willing to accomodate us.

Think the Crown Point Inn is way too small from the look of it.

The Grasshopper has a large enough car park, but no pub to speak of (plus you need to book tables if you want to eat).

We need somewhere big with a large car park, that's kiddie friendly, a non-smoking section (personal request that one), serves decent food (until late), and a willing landlord/lady.

 

The crown point is a brewers fair or harvester and the car park should be big enough but I will take a look this weekend and let you know!

 

Lets try Badgers mount then, was looking for somewhere a bit further away, but hey, it'll make a CHANGE. Easy for eveyone to get to. Off M25 then do a left and yer there.... It's a dodgy chef+brewer type thing so food should be okish...

 

Off you go then Dom, give em a ring and see if they can handle us!
