Bulb is H3

Choose from PIAA 120w expensive, or Halfords 130w cheap. I've tried both, and use Halfords.

To remove the bulb you need to loosen the two small Philips screws one each side of the lamp casing just behind the lamp glass. Do not remove them totally or the captive nuts on the inside will fall off. The glass/reflector will then slide out of the casing.

Depending how your lamps have been mounted you will almost certainly have to remove the whole lamp/glass unit to get at the Philips screws - three larger Philips/hex head screws in the bumper recess behind the lamp casing.

Normal don't touch the bulb envelope comments apply too...

The sidelights are relatively easy to get out, but be careful with the drivers side as it tends to be sticker than the other; Gold only knows why

Get behind the lense and gently push it forward. It's held in-place with a ball and socket connection so, try to squeeze it forward (if that makes sense).

It should just pop out, but be careful to not push forward too much as the wiring may catch on the wing.

Stefan

P.S. IMHO the original PIAA bulbs are far too sensitive to vibrations or heat as I went through loads of them before switching to the Halfords ones. I've had the same bulbs now for 18 months - the PIAA ones were lasting weeks
