The old method for truckers was to give the thumbs down sign.Apparently this could be deemed as interfering with a police officer's duty or summat.

 

i heard of a lady "flashing" at her husband as he came the other way unbeknown to her that she had gone through a speed camera and she got done!!

well whenm i got pulled in my old astra gte doin abot 65-70 in a 40 the copper didnt issuer me a ticket just told me to slow down in future (as i had a digital speedo told him it was playin up which it was)and i could warn other drivers that he was there, so i dont see how you could be interfering with police business as there main task is to slow people dowqn!!!!!!!!(yea right)

 

They even annouce where the Vans are on Local Radio round here.

 

Yup. But it would still be deemed okay to break into someone's house though even if someone saw you doing it. Especially if their eyesight was not 100% due to old age...

 

I'd heard the police weren't too impressed about it, just shows they're out to make money not slow people down[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] IMO
