Question

Paul, any news on the Eibachs for the MY01. I know the lot you had didn't seem to fit properly but is there any time scale for the revised ones. Looking to get the springs changed soon but I'd be gutted if I fitted the old style and in a week the new came out and everyone raved about them.

Any info much appreciated.

Emailed Trouser about this a few days ago. He is expecting to hear very soon. He suggested joining the mailing list at the TSL website as he'll sned out the info from there as soon as he knows.

Hey Kids.... sorry!!!

we are still waiting for the magic letters for the new springs... TUV!! ... Actually i think that has been OK'd now.. the producyion "queue" ahead of them means that these poor Scoob springs are about three weeks behind some blessed Ford Mong-Gayo springs or summit more volume-tastic

Cheers

AAWwwwwwwww,

looks like I'm not going to hear what they are like/get them fitted before Le Mans. 3 weeks, not long enough to go with the 'old' springs but not immediate enough to satisfy my need for improvement prior to my trip to France. Never mind, good things come to those who wait - I hope. Thanks for the info Paul.

Cool

Trouser, the word is TÜV and why do you need TÜV'd springs in the UK? I thought it was only us poor German wanabees that had to put up with this Bull****

Why wait when the Prodrive ones are available from your dealer now?

because fitted they are more expensive, don't come with the benefit of TSL laser guided alignment and certainly don't come with TLS style service. Nothing against Prodrive but if you want to sell a premium product you have to sell it with premium service (dealers!!!). (and some have mentioned not liking the 'feel' at the back).

Cool

So the marvles of TUV testing failed to notice that they wouldn't fit?

Perhaps Eibach have been on the SUK Customer Care course!

LOL!!! ... I know.. I feel really sorry for Eibach... apparently the strut that someone had in the factory to do trial fitment on was a beautiful fit..... ... only problem was it APPEARS it wasn't a UK spec turbo rear strut!!! DOH!! . An expensive mistake

I think they're on tea duty now..... it's all they let me do here too!

All jestin' aside.. You guys will know ALL about 10 mins after i do

cheers guys
