Most XBox owners who paid full price will have already bought a 2nd controller, so it's a bit pointless trying to keep them quiet by giving them a 3rd controller that isn't really needed.

Should have all waited, kicking yourselves now.

 

Sell the third controller to someone buying one at £199 then....

If you wanted to wait for a cheaper price you could always wait till next christmas, xbox will probably be £50 then

 

Not really kicking myself at all. Getting 2 free games from Microshaft, and another controller that I can plug into the XBox in the car.......

 

And its got 4 controller ports. Do you not have 2 friends

 

I was a bit cheesed off when they first announced the price cut, but two free games and a controller improved the situation

And yup - three controllers - ideal for multi player Halo Excellent fun!

You're quite wrong, I'm pleased about the price cut because a) it almost guarantees the Xbox a longer shelf life, meaning my investment was worthwhile and b)2 new games and 3 player Halo

I'm just p1ssed that Microsoft have such a weak spine that they've already bent over. They should have shown a bit more belief in their product and not given in so soon. Gees, it's not as if they're running out of money.

Yes I paid 299 and have two controllers. I just hope that list of games they will give us will improve. Personally, I'd prefer my hundred quid back, then I'd buy a GameCube as well.

dont worry, the Xbox has Unreal Championship, Yager, Morrowind and the Matrix all coming out over the next few months, plus Halo2 in the pipeline for early next year.

Next week when I'm in the US, I'm gonna go and find myself a couple of them Japanese controllers. The cheapy Joytech controller I got free from Currys will be banished to the cupboard.
