Well I've finally plucked up courage to register on Scoobynet.
Six months ago I bought my best car yet (I reckon I'm qualified to judge that, as my Scooby is my 41st car so far !.) After buying my MY99, I put some extra security on and then swapped the backbox for a Group N box from TSL along with an ITG air filter.
I'm still in awe of these cars. The acceleration, the roadholding , it's just amazing.
Having been to spectate at two track days and with reading the posts on Scoobynet , I feel as though I almost know a few of you -
HARJ - great car.
DINGY - that's what I call an Escort.
Must mention CK1 - The last of the late brakers !
Anyway, that's enough for now -I just wanted to say Hello to everybody

Just out of interest, is the TSL exhaust noticeably louder than the scoobysport job?

A mate at work has a MY98 with a Scoobysport backbox, and the sound is very similiar to mine. The only difference I've noticed is that once you've floored it , mine is louder after about 4500 revs.
Also the way the box is fastened on the rubber hangers is impressive.
