MY01 OEM Alloys - Bubbling!!

Had a good clean of my alloys yesterday..... noticed that they are starting to bubble nastily around the inside edges of the spokes - looks like they've got chicken pox 
Not sure why really...
Anyone had a similar problem and if so, how about warrenty claims??? Did anyone fix them???
Surely they should last more than 16 months????

Mines started doin the same (5 mnth old),its coz the tight b$*$*$ds at subaru dont lacqeur the inside faces of the wheel.so the corrosion begins at the rear of the wheel and works its way round.See "low maintanance ploy" topic for the answer
