Looks like you should be able to get the front showing up cold on the police helicopter heat thingy now then, that scoop should see to that!

RON,

The scoop really does work. I only get flies at the top of the windscreen now

Just running with gpN disks + Ferodo pads at the mo. Needs suspension first, now where is that number for Proflex...

The scoop and spoiler are packaged together as a kit from STI. I got mine from Stuart Newby at Townend Garage (01524 733837) give him a call he might be still have one or be able to get one for you.

Its going to look even better when they are painted black

Thumbs up

Dave,

Did you manage to re-new your top gun licence. My Y.T.S trainee is still walking around with a semmy on after watching you leave the forecourt.

P.S If you are serious about suspension I can get hold of whatever you want at the right price - We've been running most of the Group N rally cars on 50mm DMS - it works excellent and is only £1950.00 + VAT. The 40mm DMS is loads cheaper - give us a phone I may be able to do you a deal - 01524 733837.

Stuart,

My license was revoked for low flying , re-test next week....As far as suspension goes, it will probably be later in the year as I want to do it properly with new bushes etc. Not heard much about DMS, is it comparable with Proflex, as I've been told I could probably get hold of some 2nd hand for about £1500.

I'm going to keep hold of my old bonnet scoop, just in case someone takes a liking to the new one...Also toying with the idea of modifying it as a roof scoop, but I need to get round the problem of air pressure which would rip it off at speed. But I'm working on that one

Mike,

Yer I think its off the Electra. I was just looking at fitting an STI6 front splitter + grill to finish it off. But you never know.

It's off the car at the moment, away getting sprayed. Car looks REALLY sad without a spoiler Never mind, it'll be back to being mental by the weekend
