Are P6000 tyres good for an MY98

Have been offered some pirelli p6000 tyres at a good price and wondered if they are worth it in terms of how long they will last etc???

What other tyres are recommended for an MY98? Have 16" standard wheels.

I put Goodyear F1`s onto my MY98, never looked back

Thanks for replying Rich, will look into the price of those, use to use goodyear tyres on previous non sports cars and always thought they were good.

Hi there,

I did about 10k miles on P6000s that came on my MY98 when I bought it, also did 3 airfield days with them. They're fine on the roads, very noisy on the airfield.

I am now running Toyo Proxes on 17 inch rims and like that combination better, but have kept the P6000s on my original 16 inch rims as airfield tyres - they have about 1 day left in them.
