For saving me a lot of money on my new set of F1's and a quick and friendly service, it was well worth the drive from London.

I recomend these guys and its only 1 hr 5 mins from Heathrow with a tail wind!!

Thumbs up

I got my F1s mail order from the same branch.

Ordered 2.30pm one afternoon, on my door step 8.45am the next day at the best price I've seen.

Thumbs up from me.

Chris.

John / protyre / anyone

Just wanted to add as i forgot to ask whilst there

What are the ideal pressures for the tyres, as ive seen various threads with varying pressures rears lower than the back and so on.

Have alway run with 30 Ps all round
Edited to say tyres are 215 40 ZR 17

Cheers
Dave

Dave,
I got the tyres done today, excellent job, take great care of my wheels, even managed to hide the weights behind the wheel spokes, well, at least the machine did!
re; pressures, try running 32 front, 30 rear, works for me!

Good to see these guys are still doing a good job. Had a set of tyres off them around three years ago and as Ron says, take great care of your wheels. Much better than some of the cowboys i've been to since.

Dave,

My guys set the pressures to 30psi all round which is what our data book says. Personally though, I think Ron's suggestion of 32 front, 30 rear is much better.

Glad you liked the prices and the service - we aim to please!!

Thanks for your custom

John

On my 215/40/17 F1's I ran 36PSI and found that improved things dramatically

Got mine from Protyre Slough today, quoted £100.00 a corner inc. fitting, charged me £22.00 a corner balancing, cheeky gits!! Car does feel nice in it's new shoes though.
