Unfortunately it's an unfortunate by product of the heat/damp/cooling cycle a lamp goes through and not much you can do about it. As Nick says you can separate the casing/glass and dry it out with a hair drier, but it will probably come back. [Edited by Dave T-S - 2/22/2002 4:17:14 PM] Fizz 22 February 2002, 18:49 you may never get rid of it until.. I went through 3 COMPLETE sets of lenses and two new lenses on one side on my MY98 but to no avail... Prodrive didn't give a hoot!! Still anyhow the dealer changed the casing as well (keeping the lenses) and hey presto fixed. They think that there was a faulty set of cases that were warped therefore not providing a good seal... steve_s 25 February 2002, 18:16 thanks fizz, i'm off back to dealer before waranty expires steve s chiark 28 February 2002, 12:17 If out of warranty, how about silicon sealant? |
