Can I just say congratulations, you must be one of the few people who has been able to sell an Impreza privately and not just copped out (like me!) and sold it to a dealer.
Just goes to show that no matter what people on here say and what it says in parkers/glasses guide at the end of the day a car is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

..not quite sure why this thread is still running if it's sold, but in response to JoeyDeacon I bought my scoob recently through Scoobynet and in my view it is absolutely the best way to bring honest buyers & sellers together, cutting out the middleman. One problem is that many cars here have mods and are priced to reflect the value of those mods to an enthusiast/expert, which is a double whammy for novices such as myself. The best approach, which many adopt, is to offer the car with or without mods. Perhaps potential buyers ought to be more forward in registering interest & opinions. I 'lurked' for a long time before I was ready to buy, but did not reply because I did not wish to be a timewaster.
