New Labour - New Britain.

They need a client class of welfare dependent parasites like these to keep them in power.

The beauty of it is that we actually pay for the upkeep of these people and not New Labour themselves.

The irony of course, is that a single person doesnt really receive enough to live on. If you breed like rats though, youre in a far better position...

Amen to that, I'd rather not work to pay for them though.

To be fair, they do have to put up with living in Hull.

Incidentally, since they have 2 kids aged over 18 and one about to turn 18, how are they classed as "dependent children"? Shouldn't they be forced to contribute to rent and bills?
Angina and IBS are both perfectly manageable conditions and do not mean you have to quit work. Plus he hasn't worked in 15 years, I doubt he's had those conditions for that long. Why are these people not forced into work?
- Chris

i am the wife of a corporal in the britiish army who is on £22,000 a year before tax. i have angina but we do not get carers allowance. i would be ashamed if that was my family.

God, imagine being neighbours to that lot.

As if living in Hull wasn't bad enough, but then having to suffer them as neighbours would be the icing on the cake

The cash bill is £32,656.

Thats after their rent and council tax are paid for so they are in receipt of around £40k pa.

To clear £40k pa on a PAYE salary you will be required to earn a salary of £58,000.

The Salary Calculator - Take-Home

So to get this family off of benefits they will need to earn in excess of that

I wonder what the 10 kids will end up costing the tax payer in the years to come, wonder if any of them will end up with a GCSE

Seriously it beggars belief, no wonder the country has money problems

Loads. They've all seen how fat mummy & lazy b*stard daddy make a living. They'll all follow suit.

The Lads will get some lass up the duff to get a free house, money.
The girls will get pregnant for the exact same reason.

Doubt it. That would mean they might intend to work.

The knock on effect will probably be that each of the 10 kids will each follow in their parents footsteps.
National/community service has got to be the way forward for these free loaders.Lets get them of their back sides and in the fresh air doing some proper work

No, the Daily Mail is a pretty reliable fascist rag it has to be said. Not quite as soft and absorbent as the Express though.

Looks to me like most of the children are going to carry on in the family business.

He looks quite proud of himself, I bet he knows the DSS system better than your average CAB advisor.

Volunteer or circuits with a fire extinguisher above their heads
