TC, I tried to go there, but get a web page unavailable error, may be temporary.
As you are the resident Pug expert, a quick question for you.
A friend of mine has the 2.0 406 SRi Turbo, its the new shape, but must be one of the first of that shape, as its a good few years old.
He keeps getting the Check Engine light appearring, and the car loses power. It doesnt happen all the time, and he had it in at a garage to have a service, but didnt have the cash for them to check it out properly.
I suggested he reset the ECU, but as it loses power when the light comes on, its clearly more than just a service interval warning.
Have you had any experiences of these cars doing this? If so, any ideas on how we should approach sorting it?
I know the obvious is to take it to Peugeot, but he doesnt want to spend any more on it at the mo, so I was hoping it was perhaps a problem you were aware of.
Cheers
Gray

Lightbulb

check the speedo cables properly secured (connected) to the engine, if it's loose, it does the scoob thing and you end up with limited power (supposably to get you to a dealer so they can fix it).

The link doesn't work cos you have put a comma after uk. It is interpreting it as .co.uk,
