Hello all, don't want to drive anyone mad, but my girlfriend and most of my friends are sick of hearing about Scooby's - therefore i thought i would come and join the lads and ladies who meet up.

I live in Essex (Woodford to be exact), (lets not go down that road of proper Essex please! ), and just want to find out the next meeting that is relatively close to me.

If for no other reason than the sanity of my girlfriend and friends.

Thanks in advance and hope to meet some of you soon.

Eliot

PS. I have a sh*t sense of direction, so maps or postcodes are really helpful - thanks.

Thumbs up

Just a note re Johns Posting above

The Plough and Sail is on the OLD A130 not the NEW A130

NEW A130 opened this week and may confuse non locals etc

Eliot,

see the so...........halfway post in this forum, be good to see you there, reply on that thread if you would like a place reserved for you on 21st.

like people say, we normally all meet up at the Halfway House, 2nd Thursday of the month for food and a jaunt down to a bowling alley, or future event's (spose karting and other 'summery' events will be added). this month has been hashed around a bity due to valentines day....now that would really p1ss your girlfriend off if you left her on that day to come scooby chat!!!

otherwise, from what I have read, the Flat four club meet 2-3 times a month, so should make it convenient at least once. been a lot of aggro in the past about conflicting dates etc, but I believe both meets welcome all, and would like to think that I would always be welcome to both meets, as should everybody lucky enough to own a scooby!.

see ya soon mate!

Good point Scott, but you shouldn't let all the lovelies into your car when your girlfriend's still in it!!!

A lot of guys are going to Basildon leisure park on what "used" to be the Halfway House meet. If you want to natter about Subarus in a nice pub,an alternative is to pop along to the Plough and Sail at Rettendon on the 21st to the "Flat Four" meet. An excuse for a leisurly jaunt up the A12, turn right onto the A130, and the pub is a mile or two on the left. See the Flat Four meets for Feb. posting.
