I have a P1 STi backbox on a MY97, apart from that the exhaust system is standard. The only other concession to performance is an ITG filter. After hearing a scooby with what I think was a full scoobysport system (and sounding not unlike an old TVR v8 - lovely)I realise that I must have more throb (titter titter). Could anyone explain what is the cheapest easiest option from here – I don’t want to change the whole sytem removing both cats etc? I want something that’s nice and burbly at tickover rising to a shrieking crescendo (well almost) when one is going full pelt.

Easy, sell you Sti BB in the for sale section for £200, buy a second hand scoobysport BB for £200....

Or find someone looking for a straight swop?

Group Captain

Have to agree with POC. My ss backbox sounds the dogs proverbials and not too intrusive on M/Way.

Is your MY97 reddish blue and are you a train spotter (Brecon, Dudley)?
