Sounds like a cracker. I'm looking for a MX5 just now as a second car but yours is about 2k too expensive for me.

Alas, you won't be disappointed. I've got a series 2 1.8S import with 6 speed 'box. Beats hell out of any Impreza in the fun factor stakes, and 20 times more livable than an Elise. Superb little tool.

 

Shame this hadn't come up later in the year when we will be looking at changing our 1.6.
