Default Avon zz3 tires 215 45 r17

Just replaced my tires to the above. Grip level seems poor. I had michelins before and they were much better grip wise but noiser. Anybody else got an opinion on these tires? It hasn't rain since they've been on so can't comment on wet weather performance.

I have them and they are good.

If you only just replaced them they will seem poor, you need to scrub them in.

I've done a couple of 100 miles on them is that not enough? They seem really quiet but just don't seems to grip like my old tires. How long do you have to wear them in for? I noticed the surface of the tire seems really shiney.

I had a set on my last car, an 03 WRX, no problems, nice predictable handling I thought, especially at speed...
