Uneven tyre wear led to me have the tracking checked and I was told that the tracking was seriously out, so I had a body shop check all the front components and all seems o.k.
However I had a an accident some months back and the car was clouted quite badly at the rear. My suspicion is that the rear wheel has been moved and the car is crabbing slightly leading to the increased wear on the shoulder of the ns front tyre.
my question is this, I believe the car should have been written off, so is the onus on the insurance company`s engineer or the repair co. as I chose them in preference to the ins.co`s recommendation.
I also need someone who can check the geometry on all four wheels especially the relation between back and front I`m struggling to find anyone up to the job.
All info greatly appreciated.
cheers

Moz,

Give Rich or Dirk a call in the morning at Powerstation in Cheltenham. (01242 238400).

Their wheel alignment gear should be able to tell you all, but explain to Rich or Dirk first, before making the trip, 'cause I may have it wrong

Cheers

Ian
