Thats going to be a tricky one to track down, you say its speed related do you mean engine or road speed.

Thanks SSS, me too! Could mean a quick way to 2.5 + PPG though!

Kev, engine speed related....I'll go update the post to make it clearer too!

Just had a listen to the video u posted up, doesn't sound good, be worth getting someone who knows what there talking about to have a listen, like Andy @ ACE Motorsport or David @ API.

Well thanks for the help chaps.

I popped up to see RCM last Saturday. Very helpful chaps, amidst preparing the Gobstopper for Sunday! Randomly Ive got the same initials as Olly Clark!

Its either the clutch release bearing or spigott bearing (I think thats right) in the early stages of going.
No problem right now, but if and when it gets worse it needs doing.

Going to have to sit down and start thinking about what else I should do when it goes And what route to go down with the car now!

Yep Very nice chaps too.

Just got to decide what route to go down with the car now....the missus is starting to churp about about the big M and K words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (cant stress the !'s enough)

So...for a decent build that's going to be able to take me (maybe not straight away) up to 400+:

1 - Pay someone to do it properly in one go - £12-13k ish, one hell of a bank loan!!
2 - Buy a cheap TDI and try to do it myself - might save some money, but then I might not if it all goes horribly wrong!
3 - Just do nothing for now, keep it ticking over and wait until i've got some more cash to splash and decide then....

All very scary prospects.
