I pay a bloody fortune for my phone and take out insurance.. Then I lose the phone .. At the time I had my works sim card in it as I was on call. So said that the sim card had not been lost.

Got a letter today. Dear Sir... we will not consider your claim as the CPW Sim card was not in the phone... WTF???? Can they do this... If i knew this I would have "lost" the sim aswell!!!

This has made me so mad [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Anyone had experience of this???

Hi Andy,

Have a good look at the insurance policy. If it says "phone" then your covered. Remember, you covered the phone not the SIM card.

Then take a deep breath and give them a call. Inform them (politely ) that you do not accept there letter and that according to your policy the "phone" is covered. Await a suitable responce.

It doesn't sound to me as if they have a leg to stand on, I think their just trying there luck. W@nkers
