Oh my god not long to go now i am sooooooo excited ( i havent played much on live since the previous vegas ) But im a rainbow addict having bummed them all since raven shield , still say black arrow was the best yet ! Im hoping Vegas 2 may be able to get the maps right , anyway anyone a rainbow addict ?

I am still in love with COD4 but one thing that rainbow offers is Co op which is really refreshing change . Think it the only time when you really need team work which is great if you find a few like minded people ….. When is it out next weekend ??

Just watched a Preview of Vegas 2 on Gamer.tv. Looks virtually the same as the first game. It does have some extras like 'sprint mode' same as COD4 now added. The game is a prequel story to the 1st one apparrently. They gave it 7 out of 10.

 

think ill wait till bbc comes out in june

Apparrently the Game engine is the same. Had noticed when watching the review it looked a little on the light side. But then again I have been playing COD4 quite a bit, and the graphics compared to R6V are a lot better.

 

Yeah i went onto Halo 3 and COD4 so may be mistaken in my criticism.

Most probably will buy it as was going for Army of Two but heard it's short and you can cheat to get 1 or some of the achievements (and Game want £50 as them and EA are having a little tiff)

For those interested, HMV are doing a "Clan Pack" whereby you get four copies of the game for the price of three, plus two extra guns.

Works out at £30 per copy, which will probably be the cheapest deal for the UK version. Although you could probably pick up a EU or NTSC-U version cheaper if you're not worried about trading it in at some point.

One of the chaps on my friends list had a friend who was playing R6V2 last night, god knows where it came from, must have been a bit boring online though!

 

One of my relatives is a buyer for supermarkets and regulary gets promotional copies of games a long time before they are released, I had Lost Odyssy a month before it came out.

BUt you can also download games waaaay before they are released, he probably had a modded xbox.

 

Usenet (or newsgroups) normally have them but as Tobiasausage said you need a modded xbox and can't play it online (as far as i know) so therefore missing the point of a large chunk of the game

 

Well he was online as in connected to XBOX live as we could all see him so maybe just an early copy from somewhere....
I think I can feel an illness coming on for next Thursday....

I have had 2 modded 360s banned from live , im now on box number 3 and am leaving this one "unflashed" (at least for a while after rainbow + GTA come out ) Supposedly though there now pretty untracable as microsoft now cant tell if you have a dodgy drive or if you have been flashed so the bans have calmed down considerably , still i am not gonna be the test puppy to find out , a couple of my mates have done it again a few nights ago so im gonna sit back watch and laugh at them if they do get banned when vegas 2 appears !!

 

Vegas 2 is out today isn't it Going to get my copy and play it tonight I noticed that the pal version is on all the newsgroup sites so I'm assuming its in the shops ???

Just been playing it, instant action or story mode. Both are good fun but 1/2 hits and your dead Its a good game but I think COD4 has nothing to worry about roll on GOW2
