Problem with Kenwood mask!!!!
Hi,
The Kenwood mask stereo that I have had in my car for the past two years has suddenly developed a fault, does anyone have any idea of what it could be?
Usually you switch on the ignition the face spins around, lights up and then starts playing. Now it spins around, the backlights come on (no visual display) but no sound is heard. At the same time none of the buttons work!!!!!!
The strange thing about it is that the backlights on the stereo still come on.
Any ideas.

First try pressing the reset button while the unit is switched on. If this doesn't help remove the front panel and using cotton buds and lighter fuel, clean the contacts on the back of the panel and on the unit itself.
If this doesn't help--------cry.
