Question

The Cigar Lighter socket on my MY98 seems to have died, I have checked the supply at the back of the socket and this seems OK but there is no power inside the socket and nothing I plug into it works.

My quesiton is, how do you get the b***dy thing out of the center console in order to replace it?

Andrew...

Andrew,

The backmost part of the thing (which looks like a crimped dooberry) unscrews and allows the thing to fall out.

Took me a while, too... My cigarette lighter gave its life so that I could have an on/off switch for the Mp3 player

Nick.
