Exchange/Network Issues
I am wondering if anyone knows why the following may be a problem, I do not know why this has been setup in this manner but somehow 1 particular person is pushing for this to be looked at.
Exchange 2003 server with 2 nics - 2 seperate IP addresses on different subnets/vlans - There is routing between this and all other user traffic which is on various other subnets/vlans.
No hard or fast rule as to which IP a user seems to pick when connected to Exchange, a nslookup shows both IP addresses - DNS setup to resolve both IP's.
Could this cause any issues with slow response times. The network is sound, the nics are both GB going into Cisco 6509's.
Any help appreciated.
