fabio brought up a story on sunday whilst having munch, about parking the subaru.. ie shopping malls, the movies, carparks, etc... and if another subaru was spied would you go and park? beside it to look the part or jst decide to leave her beside the lada riva?.. i agreed with himself i would be a stickler myself and a ave a nose bout and jam myself in if there was a space wot about yous guys? ever thot the same?.. i have been in contact with my southern irish buds and sum across the shuck their in england and scotland and they have ammited the same and regurly seek out a scub to park beside.. fabio mate ur not on ur own must be a subaru thing lol...

 

I try and never park mine anywhere lol,
I have a van for work and if ever shopping or going anywhere we would take the wifes car lol, so all good haha

 

if at all possible i park just outside and walk to the shopping centre

 

well i have to admit if i see a scoob parked up, if theres a space beside/near by then its likely i'd park beside it...unless its bucketin outta the heavens an thers a space closer lol

 

i always take up two spaces if i can !! coz im fed up getting doors slammed into mine.

Got my scoob near three years ago and it was immaculate and now theres at least five different dings due to ***** that cant open there car doors without banging them into someone elses pride and joy !!!

 

Scoobies a not "that common" so don't see many about to park beside, but on the Sunday before Christmas I was in Tesco's at Knochnagoney and there was a space beside another Scooby (a dark blue classic I think) so I parked beside it and when I came out it was gone.

wouldnt park in a disabaled space though think I would feel guilty if I parked in 1 hen a genuine disabaled person came along!

my local shopping centre theres a single space down the side that no one ever seems to park in so i take it

 

I'm the same, two spaces when I can, and the local supermarket has a nice car size section chevronned off which normally contains my scoob when shopping LOL

sometimes i take two myself but i walk away and feel like everybody is slabberin about me haha "god sake look at that fella he can't park his car!" lol

 

2 spaces. or the very end space bside a kerb. parked bside a kerb last nite and forgot about it on the way out....right over it.....poor wee scooby......no damage thank God......and 2 think i was slagging my hubby about his love of kerbs.......THERES TOO MANY BLOODY KERBS!

 

APPARANTLEY the traffic wardens ticket you now if you dont park correctly.....ie in one space.....obviously they dont drive decent cars

 

they do ticket you for not parking properly in spaces i had a 20 pound fine on run up to crimbo really pissed! me off must be a ballyclare thing... the ***** have nuthin else better to be doing..

 

I've seen posters up in Bangor about this too, obviously it's aimed at 4x4 & people carrier drivers as that all you get in Bangor these days , oh and spide's in Corsa's and Clio's too.

i remember having this chat. i was starting to think i was the only peeps that was so sick that i went looking other scoobs to park beside .and when it happened the last time mrs fabio just looked at me and said boys and there toys .

but to save me a bit when we returned to the car,the scoob id parked beside was gone only to be replaced by another one on the other side of mine.

It depends - if I spotted any of you lot I would park beside you, for a quick nip into the shops. There is always the risk that the scooby leaves and some 25 stone grunt in a monster truck parks beside you and steps out onto your bonnet as he dismounts.

 

if you take two spaces in a ncp carpark the red coats ticket you,

friend of mine did this at xmas in ballymena,redcoat was bouncing but cudnt do anything about it!!!

got my door dinged shopping at xmas,not happy.

i agree........bet they see the scoob and the green eyed monster gets the better of them.......like denting a door is gonna make their life any more worthwhile........what goes around comes around!!!!
